Typography is an art of   selecting and arranging TEXT distribution arrangements in the available   spaces, to create a certain impression, so it can help readers to  get a comfort to read as much as possible. The text and article have very important  meaning for humans. In  fact, the name of civilization or historical period marked by familiar  events written by humans.
 
Ages before  there was writing often  referred to prehistoric times. If you look  to the book or to a computer screen, You will see the letters and  writings. 1. Contras:  different typeface, different characters
2. Simplicity:  negative-positive is not too complex
3. Proporsi: between the visible  and does not seem to be right so that  legible

TEXT MEASUREMENT SYSTEM  IN TYPOGRAPHY

Typographic measurement units;
Point:  high of the letters
Pica: long of the letter
Units: spacing  between letters
 
1 Pica: 12 pt
1 inch: 8 Pica (1 inch = 2.359  cm)
1 inch: 72 pt
 
TYPE SIZE
1. Display  type: for the title (headline), in order to draw attention,  size must  be more than 18 pt
2. Text Type: text (text), the body text size to  14 pt under
 
CLASSIFIED LENGTH OF LETTERS
Ideal  length: 2 eyespan
Normal: approximately 5 to 6.5 / 12-15 Pica
Lines  that are too long can make the reader lose starting point  (starting  point line)
 
* Eyespan is eye visibility without having to move  the head
 
The distance between letters (kerning)
Should not be  too close / too far
 
Distance between lines (leading)
Should  not be too close because it resulted in the same line read two  times,  should not be too far because the cause readers to lose the  starting  point
